5 Places I want to Visit

Here we are for the third and final top 5 selected by you. It is no secret that 99.99% of my vacations are in the happiest place on Earth, Disney World. Despite my undying love for the magic, there are several parts of the world I would love to visit that you can’t find in Magic Kingdom. However, you can find some of these in Epcot! I could be a total dick and just list five countries from the World Showcase. However, I won’t do that. So here are five places I want to visit…

5. SeattleSeattle

You’ll find something about this place different from the rest, it is in the United States. I see pictures of Seattle and it is absolutely gorgeous. There are some beautiful views to just take in. It is a very progressive city which is another appeal to me. If you know where I swing on the political spectrum, I would probably fit in there. I always find it particularly funny when I tell people I want to visit Seattle that the first response usually has something to do with the amount of rain. It is a different kind of rain. It is not Louisiana rain where you walk outside and you may as well have jumped in a pool. It is misty and I love that kind of weather. Whenever I do eventually visit Seattle, I would love to go to a Seahawks game because that crowd is insane!

4. Germanyoktoberfest-in-germany-1447.jpg

I will give you three reasons why Germany is number four…beer, beer and more beer. I have always wanted to go to Oktoberfest, although I have been told from Germans that the fest is all Americans. Big Surprise! In all seriousness, I have met a few people from Germany and every single one of them have been great to speak with. I would love to experience the human element from the natives. Germans are fucking awesome. Berlin looks stunning so I would of course love to explore the city. Then of course you have the Bavarian Alps, which is home to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Plenty of things to do in Germany.

3. Switzerlandswitzerland-matterhorn.ngsversion.1412614011321

Switzerland for Christmas…yes please. All of the mountains and old towns there, talk about fun. One of the things my wife and I love to do is hike. So getting the opportunity to hike Matterhorn would be incredible. Ironically, my wife and I looked at each other after riding Soarin’ at Epcot and said we should go to Switzerland. It looked incredible on Soarin’ so figured it would be good in person.

2. Canadal9YW6Mq

I am going to be honest, I would move to Canada and I have never stepped foot in the country. I am not going to get into the politics on why I would live there, just know this… that place is awesome. I don’t know if you know any Canadiens, but they are some of the most friendly people you can meet. I don’t need to go there to figure that out. I have met plenty. It is only a matter of time before we go for a visit. I was so close to having my Bachelor Party in Toronto because it is supposedly one of the most fun cities to have one in. When the time comes to go to Canada, I would love to get tickets to see the Maple Leafs. Speaking of Maple, who doesn’t love Maple Syrup? Canada is awesome, period.

1. Ireland11-temple-bar.jpg

The Irish are some badass people. I already expressed how happy I am that we are naming my son Finn because of where the name originated. Everything about Ireland is appealing. Aside from all the beauty you can see in Ireland, the biggest draw for me is the people. They are as proud as they come from what I hear and fun as hell to talk to. What is not to love about sitting at a pub bullshitting with the Irish? Bonus, potatoes are the shit.
