Right now, everyone is posting their 10 year challenge pictures showing how much they have changed from 2009 to 2019. For many of the people on my social pages, we were just graduating and now we are functioning (I use that term loosely) adults. I decided to spice things up a bit and create a survey that reflects where I was 10 years ago. You will also see an accurate depiction of my hairline in the cover picture. I will answer based on what my answer would have been 10 years ago to now.

10 Years ago – The Dark Knight
I remember the first teaser that dropped for this movie and as soon as I saw it, I loved it. In fact, I saw it 4 times in theaters.
Now – The Godfather
Literally my favorite movie of all time and it is not even close.

10 Years ago – Thousand Foot Krutch
I first heard of them on Myspace on a buddy’s profile. Looked at their profile and instantly loved them around freshman year. The song on my buddy’s profile was Move. I was hooked from there.
Now – Panic At the Disco
Brendon Urie is a god and that is all you need to know.

10 Years ago – Lil Wayne
Insert typical high school answer for many of us at the time.

I can’t decide between those two. Love them both.

10 Years ago – LeBron James
He is the sole reason I became such a massive fan of basketball and the NBA as a whole. Although he is still one of my favorites, he is not the top dog anymore. He may not even be top 5 favorites anymore.
Now – Tom Brady
It is funny because 10 years ago, I loathed Tom Brady. Over the years, I just began to appreciate greatness in sports. He is such a chameleon as a QB that just plays to the style that will help his team win. I love that.
TV Show
10 Years ago – Boy Meets World
This will forever be one of my favorites and was my absolute favorite for most of life until recently.
Now – The Office
Really within the last year or so, The Office has evolved into my favorite because it is easy to follow and watch. The more I watch it, the more I love it. Bottom line, if I can’t scuba, then what’s this all been about?

I said earlier how much I loved this song. In high school, this was my go to song to get pumped.
Now – Emperors New Clothes by Panic At the Disco
That song is an absolute banger. Of course I would have to represent my favorite band if I were a wrestler. I assume the rule is I can’t take current themes. If so, it would be Cody Rhodes’ theme Kingdom.

I am not ashamed of this.
Now – Hilary Duff
Some just never fade away.
What is the most embarrassing fashion trend you rocked?
10 Years ago – American Eagle shirts with the stupid sayings on them like “Define Girlfriend”

Lion King was my favorite and I have always loved Mufasa. He is still up there for me. He is an OG.

Toy Story has stood so well with the test of time and Woody has evolved into one of my favorite Disney characters overall.

They probably don’t constitute as a family, but I always wanted my life in high school to be like that movie.

They are a damn family and if you say otherwise, you are wrong.

10 Years ago – Derek Jeter
He is a biracial angel. I honestly would not have had an answer for this back then as I didn’t follow politics and history as much as I do now.
Now – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
He is one of the most revered and dignified individuals in American history in my opinion. The world could use more people like him.
What breed of dog would you be?
10 Years ago – German Shepard
I loved and still do love German Shepards. They are beautiful breeds of dogs and I was around them for most of my life until that point.
Now – Pitbull
Freaking love Pits and bully breeds in general. They get such a bad name because of assholes who use them for fighting when they are gentle giants. They are also powerful freaking beasts.
Cat or Dog person?
10 Years ago – Dog
This wasn’t even a question. I only had dogs. I hated cats. I thought they were the biggest shit bags.
Now – Cat
Cat all the way. I now appreciate their sense of no bullshit and incessant trolling. I like that cats don’t have to be in your face 24/7. Dogs are just too extra sometimes.

If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be and why?
10 Years ago – The Real World
I was such a massive fan of this show in high school. Although, I do think I would have emotionally broken being in the house.
Now – MTV’s The Challenge
I know for a fact I would get murdered in most of those challenges. I would absolutely love trolling everyone in the house because some of those people are such dicks and filled with hubris. So many are mentally soft. It would be fun to pick them apart verbally.
If you could teach a class on one thing, what would it be?
10 Years ago – How to Skate by
I did the bare minimum in school to pass because ScReW tHe SyStEm MaN.

Memes and false information spread like wildfire now and it drives me up the damn wall. Just do a quick search before sharing stupid shit, please.
If you could be immortal, what age would you choose to stop aging at and why?
10 Years ago – 21
For obvious reasons, to be legal.
Now – 24
I think that was the last time I could binge drink over a weekend and not feel like death. I could wake up without back pain. I could eat what the hell I wanted without side effects. It was before injuries starting piling up. I also became very comfortable in my own skin by that point.

Open water scared the hell out of me.
Now – Death
Space and open water both scare the hell out of me. I am fascinated by sea creatures and space. But I will gladly observe through my tv or computer screen.
