Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself

Just when I think I’m out, they pull me back in.

Just kidding. I did this to myself. It has been a little over a year since the last time I was active on my blog here. Since mid 2021, I took a major step back from the regular posting. I focused heavily on NFL content at that point.. I was doing a weekly NFL pod with two of my friends.

The reason for the step back was honestly life getting busy. I had a job that was taking a good portion of my time with a difficult work/life balance. It was either be more present with my wife and kids or write shit. I chose the former. This has happened where I have taken a break from it all. I am sure it will happen again at some point.

For now, fuck it. Let’s do the thing.

I am excited to get back to writing, podcasting (still need to come up with a plan there) and just having fun doing what I love.

One of the things I have enjoyed more than anything with my site is the random relationships I end up developing. Some are and have been my closest friends who just read, support and enjoy my content. Others are friends from when I was a child. Then there’s the randoms I don’t know from a ham sandwich who heard of it because a mutual friend shared something.

I can tell you there was a point in time where I was absorbed in the vanity of it all. It consumed too much of my free time. It became a second job almost.

I remember launching this things and doing the shirts thinking “MAN! I want to make some money on this.” Of course, that would be nice. There was a point in time where I was making a very minimal amount. That was cool. But, it honestly just sort of happened when I wasn’t necessarily seeking it.

Now, I just think of this as my own personal diary of sorts. It isn’t for everybody. Some people aren’t a fan of the vulgar language that comes with it. But, some of my biggest supporters are. It’s a lot of give and take. If it isn’t for you, cool. If it is for you, cool.

Come at me sideways because you don’t like what I say? I’ll likely have some fun at your expense. There was that one time where a bunch of Washington Commanders fans came at me on Twitter because I said Chase Young was going to be a bust. Dude still doesn’t have 10 career sacks.

Also if you’re reading this, take a shot because I mentioned Chase Young. *Especially looking at all the dudes in the Dirty Dozen.*

Whether it is sports, movies, music, Disney, wrestling, life, family, politics…really whatever the fuck comes to mind, we back baby!
